Special Town Board Meeting – September 26, 2007 – 9:00 A.M.
The special town board meeting of September 26, 2007 was called to order by Chairman Ed Coffen at 9:03 a.m. in the town Office of the Raymond F. Sloan Community Center.
All notices were posted according to the open meeting law and the media was notified.
Present: Chairman Ed Coffen, Supervisors Jack Dunbar and Rick Mazurczak and Clerk Patricia Christy.
Motion by Dunbar, sec’d by Coffen to approve the agenda of September 26, 2007. Motion carried.
Bertland Dr. Culvert bids – The Clerk opened the bids. Musson Bros. bid was $33,987.21 and Pitlik & Wick bid was 22,191.00. Motion by Coffen, sec’d by Mazurczak to approve the bid of Pitlik & Wick for a total of $22,191.00. Motion carried.
Highway D Speed Limit – There was discussion regarding lowering of the speed limit on Hwy D from Elm Road to Bluebird West. Motion by Coffen that the Clerk prepares a letter to the Oneida County Highway Committee to have Highway D Speed limit lowered from Elm Road to Bluebird West to 35 mph. Motion sec’d by Dunbar. Motion carried. Also the clerk should send a carbon copy of the letter to Nick Sholtes.
Preliminary 3-lot subdivision of property of Ed & Paula Meyer Gov’t Lot 1, Sec. 15, T38N, R7E, PIN# LT 184 – 6684-6686 Mink Lane – Motion by Jack, sec’d by Coffen to approve the 3-lot Subdivision of Edward and Paula Meyer, owners, described as Gov’t Lot 1, Section 15, T38N, R7E, PIN# LT 184, Town of Lake Tomahawk and to also notify Steve Osterman at Oneida County Planning and Zoning that this has been approved. Motion carried.
Correspondence - We received an appraisal from the DNR that they have purchased the Plum Creek Lumber Company which is located south of Town on Highway 47.
The Chairman also attended a TRIP meeting. Ed will write A TRIP D grant which is for anything over $100,000.00. He will apply for this for River Road from the Wooden Bridge to Highway D. He also will apply for a regular TRIP grant which is for anything over $20,000.00 and under $100,000.00. He will apply for this for Fox Road. The next meeting for this is scheduled for December 5, 2007.
We also received a survey from TLPOA to fill out regarding Aquatic Invasive Species.
At 8:35 a.m. motion by Coffen, sec’d by Dunbar to adjourn. Motion carried.
