WILDERNESS REST CEMETERY



Wilderness Rest Cemetery was founded in 1972 by action of the Town Board of Lake Tomahawk.
The original cemetery plat has 78 blocks with eight (8) burial lots to each block.

The cemetery is managed by a five-member board and has meetings periodically to take care of business.
Reports are made to the Lake Tomahawk Town Board monthly.

The Wilderness Rest Cemetery Board in planning for the future has expanded the facility by 140 additional blocks. (1120 lots)
The Lake Tomahawk Town Board approved this first addition on July 12, 2006.
