Special Town Board Meeting – November 3, 2009

Special Town Board Meeting – November 3, 2009 – 4:15 P.M.

The Special Town Board meeting of November 3, 2009 was called to order by Chairman Rick Mazurczak at 4:15 P.M. in the Raymond F. Sloan Community Center.

All notices were posted according to the open meeting law and the media was notified.

Present: Chairman Rick Mazurczak, Supervisors Jack Dunbar and Shawn Tingley and Clerk Patricia Christy.

Motion by Dunbar, sec’d by Tingley to approve the agenda of November 3, 2009. Motion carried.

Permit for moving of home to 7294 River Road for Steven Melka per Town Ordinance #167 – This is an ordinance that has been in the ordinances since 1988 but has never been enforced. There was much discussion concerning this ordinance as to the meaning of dwelling and does this mean modular and mobile homes. Motion by Dunbar, sec’d by Tingley to put a moratorium on ordinance Chapter 167 until Town has an opportunity to review the ordinance. After more discussion Dunbar amended his motion and was sec’d by Mazurczak to read to put a moratorium on ordinance chapter #167 until the Town has an opportunity to review the ordinance in January at a meeting and Dunbar will re-write the ordinance and bring it to the Town. On a voice vote Dunbar aye and Tingley aye, Mazurczak nay. Motion passed.

Preliminary 3-lot subdivision as part of Gov’t Lot 5, Sec.14, T38N, R7E, Pin LT 178, Fagan Family Trust property. - Motion by Dunbar, sec’d by Mazurczak to approve the preliminary 3-lot Certified Survey Map of the Fagan Family Trust for property described as part of Gov’t Lot 5, Section 14, T38N, R7E, PIN# LT 178, Town of Lake Tomahawk. Motion carried.

At 4:55 p.m. motion by Mazurczak, sec’d by Tingley to adjourn. Motion carried.
