Protect & Preserve
The Town of Lake Tomahawk is a beautiful place to live and visit. The forests, lakes and streams are home to many creatures. It’s imperative that all residents and visitors take care to ensure the environment is a safe place for all.
Pesticides, chemicals and poisons including the burning of plastics harm all life through our waterways and eventually end up in our own ground water and yards, harming everything through the food chain. Everything is connected!
Please let the dandelions grow, hold off on raking your yard in the fall and spring, refrain from using chemicals altogether. Live trap animals if necessary and relocate them.
Our Earth and the creatures living here with us need our help now more than ever! Let’s keep Lake Tomahawk a beautiful place and stop pesticides, chemical use and the unnecessary burning of all plastics. We have a duty to protect the our Planet. Not for us, but for the future generations.
